Preparing For Puppy. When you place a deposit on one of our puppies, we provide you with detailed information covering your essentials shopping list, advice on puppy training & registering with a vet, the food your puppy will be weaned onto & where to buy it, advice on puppy proofing & preparing for your new arrival, safe travel requirements & useful information on dog-dangerous human foods, dog-dangerous plants & chemicals. This aims to cover all the information you will need if you are a first time puppy owner or acts as a good refresher if you are already a seasoned dog owner but it's been a while since you had a puppy in the house. We are also available on whatsapp or phone to answer any additional questions you might have.

Visiting Guide.Visitors are very welcome but we do have a few rules. Please do not visit other puppies & then visit us. We appreciate that you want to be sure of your breeder & this may mean visiting more than one litter, but we work extremely hard to keep our puppies safe & well. Another litter may have been bred with lesser standards & you could potentially cross contaminate our home & cause harm. If you have recently visited another litter, ensure you have showered & thoroughly disinfected your hands since visiting anywhere else & that you wear different, fresh clothing to visit us. This helps to protect our pups & keep them safe. All visits whether virtual or in person are limited to 30 - 50 minutes depending on age of pups at the time. We are a family breeder, not a large establishment with staff & need to make sure we still have time each day for our day to day dog duties, walks & care (which is time consuming!) & for our own work/life balance. Please limit your group size to a 4 people in total whether adults or children. If you wish to visit in a group larger than 4 please notify us beforehand. Types Of Visit. 0-2 week old pups - video call / photos only. 2-3 weeks - video call preferred. In person visits potentially possible limited to 30mins and handling will be based on our own assessment of mum & her comfort level with strangers. This visit may be fairly "hands off" with us doing all/the majority of the handling & just offering you a little stroke. 3+ weeks - handling & cuddles are very welcome. Visits limited to 50mins. Virtual visits are available at any age so if you are some distance away & prefer to video call in the first instance before making the journey, we are happy to arrange this.

Health Testing. Our puppies are assured to be guaranteed non-sufferers of multiple genetic conditions/diseases most commonly associated with the Cockapoo via parental DNA testing performed by a well respected UK based laboratory. Paperwork can be viewed in person when you visit.

What Happens if a Puppy Fails the Vet Check. If your reserved puppy had any advised notes on their health check for anything untoward you will be notified at the first opportunity to discuss. You will receive a full deposit refund if choosing to no longer want the puppy in question, can select a different puppy from the litter who has passed their checks (if any are available), leave your deposit with us for first pick of our next litter or if you choose to still take puppy home if the issue noted was minor we may offer a price reduction at our discretion depending on the issue identifed. Beyond refunding your original deposit, we can accept no liability for disappointment nor offer any financial reinbursement for any items you have already purchased in preparation for puppy coming home so we advise keeping shopping to minimum until vet check is completed "just in case".
-
Final Payments & Collection.Puppies cannot leave us until they are paid for in full. We do not offer payments plans. We do not take any final payments until puppies have passed their final vet check and are ready for collection. Payments are taken when you have signed your puppy paperwork and are ready to leave with your new companion.
-
Reserving a Puppy. We take a £250 deposit minimum deposit to reserve a puppy. Requested deposit may be higher if you are asking us upfront to delay your planned collection date beyond the puppies 8-9 week old typical collection window.

Puppy Shipping / Delivery.Puppies must be collected from us in person. However if you are a significant distance away, provided we have "met" you on a video call, we will hand over a puppy to a proper pet courier service with permission to collect on your behalf. This is only possible provided that you have organised all the transport yourself (we will not organise the transport) & everything must be properly discussed, arranged & agreed well in advance of collection. This is not something we do often, but we have done it occasionally and we are happy to discuss the option if visiting us is logistically tricky for you. We can reccomend a specific pet courier company that we have previous experience with.
